To support the launch of the AIHS Body of Knowledge Contractor Safety Management chapter, Sue Bottrell from ContractorSAFE is delivering full-day face-to-face Masterclasses across Australia.

Masterclasses are limited to 15 participants (minimum 10) to ensure a highly practical, interactive experience. The masterclass will give participants everything they need to implement the Four Pillars in their workplace—or to confidently advise clients and others navigating contractor safety management challenges.

Participants will receive the Four Pillars of Modern Contractor Safety Management Handbook, along with a suite of practical templates to support implementation.

• Understanding the legal framework underpinning contractor safety management
• Understanding your workplace context and contractor risk profile
• Effective prequalification and engagement of contractors, including standard contract clauses and structured question sets for
  • Labour hire
  • Independent skilled contractor
  • Appointment of Principal Contractors under Australian construction regulation
• Writing effective and efficient contractor induction/s
• Conducting targeted monitoring and assurance
• Implementing diligent performance review
